Golf |
| Atlungstad Golf Club is the
latest jewel in the crown of Norwegian golf. The course
is situated right on the shores of lake Mjøsa,
Norway’s biggest lake, about an hour’s drive
north of Oslo International Airport.
The course was designed by Dave Thomas Ltd., also
responsible for the such championship courses as The
Belfry and San Roque. On his first encounter with
what was to become Atlungstad golf course, Paul Thomas
exclaimed: “The landscape and setting for this
new championship golf course are truly exceptional.
Our objective is clearly to make Atlungstad “the”
course to play”.

| The club house and
pro-shop will be located in a fine old brick building
which once housed a distillery. It will also be possible
to hold various sorts of social functions on the premises.
Our aim is that Atlungstad should be able to offer members
and visitors first class golfing and social facilities
in an environment of great natural beauty. |
